We are delighted to announce our latest partner integration with TDS Custodial. This now complements the TDS Insured integration we have had in place since 2019 giving clients an optimised service-offering regardless of which TDS deposit solution agents opt for.
We have been working with various TDS Custodial scheme clients since the start of May 2020 however this new, rich integration will be another leap forward in streamlining the process for all; removing the need to hop between platforms, duplicating data entry and delivering a smoother, faster experience for Agents, Tenants and Landlords alike. The integration will deliver the following functionality and enhancements: Validate an accurate and correct certificate code has been used; auto-populate the deposit amount into The Depositary – removing data duplication and eliminating human error; submit agreed fund allocations directly & instantly to TDS – removing data duplication, human error, dashboard fatigue and speeding up the process. Ultimately a faster, more accurate, easier process for all.
Here at The Depositary, being agents ourselves, we know how important it is to have the choice to work in the way you want- so giving our clients the ability to have an optimised and integrated solution regardless of whether they choose an Insured or Custodial solution was vital to us. Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) understand this and have worked tirelessly with us to deliver, which is one of the key reasons we choose to partner with them from the offset and extend our exclusive partnership through 2021.
Our first client of 2021- Leader Fox in Poole (which is owned and operated by Ryan Woolfenden and Katie Fox) has just completed a migration from DPS to TDS Custodial.
When asked about the experience of switching from DPS to TDS Custodial Ryan wrote:
‘I was concerned about migrating the deposit data knowing how notoriously difficult these things are, but it was an absolute breeze! The help and support received from TDS was incomparable to our experience at DPS.’
When asked about signing-up with The Depositary, Ryan explained:
‘Dilapidations are, without a doubt, the most painful part of the lettings process. We’ve been crying out for a solution to make the process more transparent, consistent and generally easier. The Depositary will save us time and angst in spades.’
This is another step towards our ambitions of reducing the agent workload in tenancy conclusion by as much as 95% as well as looking to reduce the average time it takes to refund a deposit to 10 days or less. Our integrations with TDS Custodial & Insured products as well as other strategic partners such as Inventory Hive give our agent clients the kind of tech solution they’ve been dreaming of, delighting managers, staff, landlords and tenants alike. As one agent recently said to us ‘I couldn’t possibly imagine going back to how we used to do things!’.
