Making disputes easier with new online evidence portal

We are very pleased to announce that today we are launching a brand new Disputes Evidence Portal on the TDS website.  The portal will make it quicker and easier to raise or respond to a dispute online.

What's changed? The information we need from you is still the same - what's changed is that you can send it to us more easily and upload your evidence more quickly via the TDS website. You can also categorise your evidence to make it easier for our adjudicators to see which documents you are referring to in your case.

How do I raise or respond to a dispute? Instructions on how to raise or respond to a dispute are here on the website. The online dispute process now begins on the 'Is my deposit protected?' page. To start, enter the tenancy's Unique ID number, which you can find in the tenancy record or on the Deposit Protection Certificate, and scroll down to the disputes section and to raise a dispute click 'I want to send my dispute to TDS':

OR if you are responding to a dispute already raised by another party you can click on 'Review Dispute' to review the other parties' submissions and send us your response.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Important!
From 18th November we will no longer accept dispute applications, responses, or evidence via submit-evidence@tenancydepositscheme.com

Is there any other way to send a dispute? You can still raise or respond to a dispute by post. The same Dispute Application Form and Dispute Response Forms are still on the website which you can send with paper evidence if you wish.
