TDS is delighted to announce a knowledge-sharing collaboration with DampSmart, designed to help landlords and tenants gain a clearer understanding of the causes of damp and mould. This collaboration enables them to take cost-effective preventative action while enhancing energy efficiency and warmth within homes. To mark the launch of this collaboration, we are offering TDS landlords the chance to participate in a competition for seven complimentary assessments, providing landlords with an exclusive opportunity to experience DampSmart’s state-of-the-art technology firsthand.
Who is DampSmart?
DampSmart is a provider of advanced Awaretag sensor and analytics technology for the private rented and social housing sectors. Specialising in building structure analysis with ultra-compact Awaretag sensors, DampSmart offers comprehensive insights into the causes of damp and mould. By harnessing data, DampSmart aims to help stakeholders quickly and cost-effectively identify and resolve issues, making homes safer and more energy-efficient.
Introducing DampSmart’s innovative service
This knowledge sharing collaboration introduces an innovative DampSmart service, utilising its proprietary Awaretag sensors to assess the structural and internal conditions of rental properties, offering data-driven advice and an information hub to resolve issues effectively. To mark the launch of this collaboration, TDS landlords are invited to participate in seven complimentary pilot assessments. The winners of the competition will receive a comprehensive assessment of their rental properties, along with tailored, data-driven advice on how to combat damp and mould issues effectively.
“We’re delighted to be working with TDS as they lead the way in transforming the rental housing sector. Together, we’re opening a new chapter in the diagnosis of damp and mould, delivering value and peace of mind to both property owners and tenants,” said Leonard Carey, CEO of DampSmart.
The main feature of the knowledge sharing collaboration, is the launch of a new Info Hub offering expert advice on damp-related issues through articles, blogs, videos, and case studies.
This collaboration underscores a mutual commitment to assisting landlords and tenants in meeting standards set by Awaab’s Law in the forthcoming Renters’ Rights Bill, promoting healthy living, reducing disputes, and fostering an improved rental market.
