TDS Academy

Hundreds of delegates have already benefitted from our exclusive training event.

Join us for a full day course focusing on key points of tenancy deposit protection, designed specifically for property managers and administrators, inventory suppliers and landlords.

Delivered in a quiet environment, our presenters will take you through the timelines and requirements of tenancy deposit protection to help you avoid costly errors when it comes to registering a deposit.

The TDS Academy delivers expert guidance on the lifecycle of a deposit, from registration, repayment, through to the alternative dispute registration process. This will include how to confidently understand which deposit issues may already be resolved and what kinds of evidence you can prepare to save time and be more efficient should there be a dispute at the end of the tenancy.

You will have plenty of opportunity to ask questions, discuss scenarios and meet others involved in property management. Part of what past delegates have enjoyed is sharing and learning from each other's experiences!

You will gain 6 hours of Continued Professional Development (CPD), confirmed with a TDS Academy certificate.

The TDS Academy team are committed to delivering the day's program in a relaxed, friendly environment with plenty of refreshment breaks and a light lunch.

Propertymark Qualifications Level 3 Award in Residential Tenancy Deposit Protection and Management

Propertymark Qualifications LogoA lot is expected from landlords and letting agent, especially with recent swathes of changes to law and legislation.

The pressure is on more than ever for agents and landlords to be up-to-date in their expertise and knowledge, to ensure they can deal with their tenancies legally & effectively and protect themselves, and their clients, from potential disputes that may arise. With tenant fees now restricted too, the tenancy deposit is an even more important form of security for both tenant and landlord, but how can landlords and agents effectively use a tenant’s deposit, and what rules and restrictions do they need to know?

TDS, in partnership with the awarding body Propertymark Qualifications have the solution. The Level 3 Award in Residential Tenancy Deposit Protection and Management.

This qualification examines topics relevant to both the modern letting agent and landlord. In addition to the legal aspects of letting residential property you’ll also learn about handling, protecting and processing residential tenancy deposits and dispute resolution procedures.

Interested in the qualification but too busy to attend classes or workshops?

Not a problem.

This qualification can be studied in your own time, for up to three years. And, for those of you who hold the Propertymark Qualifications Level 3 Award in Residential Letting and Property Management you already have the benefit of only needing to complete two additional units, rather than the usual four.
